###So Now What? With Waleed Aly.

A New Podcast. Only On 10 Speaks.

There’s no doubt the world as we know it has been shaken to the core by COVID-19.

Little pieces of our daily life have changed, but what about the big picture?

Join The Project host and Walkley Award-winner Waleed Aly for this insightful podcast as he explores what our future might look like as we step out of the shadow of the Coronavirus.

What will happen to aspects of life as a result of this pandemic? Is there an opportunity for change, to make some things better than they were before?

In the premiere episode, Waleed imagines life after COVID-19 – just how strong will our social cohesion still be?

Well before the virus, rising inequality, violent extremism, social media, tribal and bitter politics were all making Australia a harsher and more divided community.

Age, gender, wealth, job sector and cultural background are all factors likely to play a major role in how we experience the pandemic and just as importantly, what our life, and prosperity, will be like on the other side.

But while we might have been all in this together, the impact has hit some a lot harder than others.

Joining Waleed to discuss social cohesion are Professor Michele Grossman (Research Chair in Diversity and Community Resilience at Alfred Deakin University) and Rebecca Huntley (Principal at Vox Populi Research).

So Now What? With Waleed Aly is available to listen now with new episodes set to be released every Monday morning. Subscribe wherever you listen to podcasts to get every episode.
