I have just been watching season 1. And I almost stopped after episode 2. Found the characters a little annoying, the acting over acted and camera a little shaky. But the show really picked up in episode 3. So sticking it out.

It’s a show that builds and gets better over the season.

There is just one thing that annoys me and that is the shaky camera. I don’t understand why the camera needs to move when two people are in bed talking.

I’m not a fan of that technique either but some directors think it is artistic.

Finished the first season before it expires. Really enjoyed the first season. Something I didn’t expect to say after considering giving up after 2 episodes. I will probably wait until the end of season 2 to watch the next season. How have people found Season 2 so far?

I feel like the first episode was similar, in a way, to the first season. There have been a lot of changes in everyone’s lives so they’ve had to spend a lot of time establishing the characters and storylines again. Hopefully, it’s like the first season and it all comes together again.

Season 2 doesn’t seem to be doing as well this year.
Do we think it’s because it’s on to late in the year this year?
I really am worried that a season 3 won’t happen.

I think season 3 will still happen but I agree the time of the year it is on is really strange to me. I would like to see it air in August - just around finals time. I know this show isn’t really about football but I think it would still benefit around that time of the year. I’m looking forward to watching season 2 but I struggle to watch drama on a week to week basis now.

Looks like we know what the storyline might be for next season if it gets renewed judging by the end of this season finale

It would suck if it doesn’t get renewed with the cliffhanger they left us on. Not sure why this show is rating is so low. It deserves to rate at least around 400-500k.

This season started a bit slow because they made so many changes to the characters and directions in storylines. In hindsight, you can see they were building the foundations and it all came together brilliantly by the end.

Just like the first season, you were rewarded for sticking with it, to the end. I hope it does get at least one more season.

I just finished the second season of playing for keeps. Not sure I agree with others about the start being slow. I found it lifted off quite nicely from the last season. I really enjoyed the season as well. i really hope 10 gives it another season.
