Nothing Is Worth More Than Blood.

Last King Of The Cross. Paramount+ Australian Original Series. Exclusively Streaming Friday, 17 February On Paramount+.

Streaming exclusively on Australia’s premier streaming service from Friday, 17 February, comes Paramount+ Australian original series Last King Of The Cross, an operatic story of two brothers, John (Lincoln Younes) and Sam Ibrahim (Claude Jabbour) who organise the street but lose each other in their ascent to power.

Inspired by John Ibrahim’s best-selling autobiography of the same name, the 10 part elevated serialised drama tracks John’s rise from a poverty-stricken immigrant with no education, no money, and no prospects, to Australia’s most infamous nightclub mogul in Sydney’s Kings Cross - a mini-Atlantic City, barely half a mile long with every form of criminality on offer.

To succeed in the ruthless world of Kings Cross, John must make personal sacrifices and quash his enemies as he climbs to the top. But this all comes at a cost. For what profits a man who gains a kingdom, but loses his soul?

Adding to the local star-power, two celebrated Australian award-winning musicians, in singer-songwriter Kate Miller-Heidke and Northlane frontman Marcus Bridge, have collaborated to dramatically re-reimagine Miller-Heidke’s multi-platinum hit The Last Day On Earth for the series. The Last Day On Earth (feat. Marcus Bridge) will be released via EMI Music Australia on January 19. Fans can use the sound on TikTok from today.

Not really excited by that trailer. Feels like it has nothing new after Underbelly.

Show looks solid to me - trailer is awful. Music kills it. Totally wrong.

Feels like the 10 people got their hands on it which is weird as P+ has their own Creative Director and marketing people separate from 10.

Shows looks well shot. Some flat acting. But that Top 40 soft rock balad just takes any drama and excitement away.

Good show ruined by bad music choice in the trailer.

Paramount+ Original Series Rabbit Hole Starring Kiefer Sutherland.

Rabbit Hole. Exclusively Streaming Monday, 27 March On Paramount+.

Produced by CBS Studios, the eight-episode season of Rabbit Hole will premiere Monday, 27 March with two episodes. New episodes will drop weekly on Mondays.

The news was revealed by Rabbit Hole showrunners, John Requa and Glenn Ficarra, during Paramount+’s Television Critics Association presentation. The Rabbit Hole panel also included series stars Kiefer Sutherland, Meta Golding, Enid Graham and Rob Yang.

In Rabbit Hole, nothing is what it seems when John Weir (Sutherland), a master of deception in the world of corporate espionage, is framed for murder by powerful forces with the ability to influence and control populations.

In addition to Sutherland, Rabbit Hole features a dynamic cast including Charles Dance (Game of Thrones) as Dr. Ben Wilson, Meta Golding (Empire) as Hailey Winton, Enid Graham (Mare of Easttown) as Josephine “Jo” Madi, Jason Butler Harner (Ozark) as Valence, Walt Klink (Arctic Circle) as The Intern and Rob Yang (Succession), as Edward Homm.

Sutherland serves as executive producer for Rabbit Hole, alongside writer-directors John Requa and Glenn Ficarra (This Is Us, WeCrashed), Charlie Gogolak (The Sinner, WeCrashed), Suzan Bymel (Designated Survivor) and Hunt Baldwin (Longmire, The Closer).

Although for whatever reason Paramount US’ media release site geoblocks us here in Australia, Google provided the following snippet from their media release on Monday their time: “The series will premiere the following day in the U.K., Australia, Latin America, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Austria and France.”

Which suggests April 7 in Australia [ie. Good Friday].
