Seeing a lot of comments online about people having issues with the app on smart TV’s.
Even for ones it’s available on people can’t watch anything.

They need a playlist/watch later part on the app.
So far nothing has me planning to stay passed the initial trial. Will maybe get it for a month every few months. It’s movies are a bit dated and available on other services I have.
I agree with the points about how it lacks a connection to 10. Under the live channels you would expect the 10 channels.

They’ve got under Rugrats (2021) the same episode for 1 and 2.

Just incorrectly labelled. Not the same episode.

Still amateur.

I just wish they’d replace 10Play with this. Make a free tier, add TV streaming and that’s pretty much it? Paramount+ in the US already has live channels right?

Is Bar Rescue on this service?

No, At least according to the list of shows on Finder

Doubtful. Easier to keep 10’s free service separate from ViacomCBS’ international flagship. Plus, brand recognition is easier with them separate. Doesn’t mean that 10 content won’t also appear on Paramount+ though.

If merging services was favourable then Nine would’ve merged 9Now into Stan a long time ago.

I feel like the viewer-side relationship between Nine and Stan is a lot more distant than the viewer-side relationship between 10 and Paramount+. I’m pretty sure when Stan was launching, they tried to distance it from the Nine brand as much as possible. While 10 is happy to plaster P+ wherever possible and move shows from one to the other.
Of course the Nine/Stan relationship has changed a bit with Stan Sport, but I still think most people wouldn’t even consider they’re related.

Probably because at launch Stan was only part-owned by Nine (they got the rest when they bought Fairfax Media).

I’ve signed up to paramount+ just for Five Bedrooms, I have noticed unlike Stan,Netflix,Prime and most of the catchup apps there is no continue watching section that I can see and although you can resume episodes it doesn’t seem that you can continue watching something you started on another device. hopefully this is something they add/rectify.

Something I noticed in the P+ help articles is that it says you can use your P+ account in any territories where it’s available except for the U.S.
It seems like the U.S platform and the international platform are completely separate for some reason?
Also there’s some help articles that still call it CBS All Access

That may be to stop people buying a cheaper P+ and then VPNing to the US.

So you cant use a VPN and get the American version?

Yes, but what I’m saying is that the international and US versions are different so that you can’t find a really cheap international version and then VPN to the US and use that one, like you could with Netflix, for example.
