Those affected worked in sound, camera operating, stunts, rigging, transportation, the production office, extras casting, hair, photography and stunts. They were led to believe they would have a job in the new season after the series was earmarked for a two-year renewal when series star and executive producer Sylvester Stallone closed a new deal in 2024.
In the crossover they mentioned how Crutch looks very similar to Curtis and laughed it off.

Speaking to IF ahead of the presentation, Paramount ANZ VP of content Tamara Simoneau highlighted the multi-generational appeal of both Dalliance and Two Years Later.
“So many young people grew up watching Phoebe swim around with her mermaid tail on, and they’ll want to watch it to see her,” she said.
“Then other middle-aged people will watch it because it’s relatable in terms of finding a spark somewhere, but [having] COVID throw everything into disarray.
“Dalliance is really spicy. The leads are iconic Aussies who everybody knows but probably haven’t seen like this. I describe that series as a cross between Secret Life of Us and Melrose Place for the over 60s, and I don’t think that’s been done before either, so I think that will attract a lot of buzz.”

This two years late sounds half decent.
I’m surprised they’re doing a third season of last king of the cross. I struggled with season 2 after a very decent season 1.
Dalliance sounds boring. Not too intetested in shows featuring old people.
I know they mentioned the new episodes of CBS shows like Elsbeth, Matlock, NCIS, FBI etc but any news about the FBI spinoff CIA, Boston Blue, Sheriff Country etc?
I wonder if those will be aired on FTA since it hasn’t been added to Paramount Plus?
That’s a bit prejudicial.
.
I feel like a drama with mainly cast over 60 will struggle to find a wide audience. Who wants to see oldies being “spicy"?
Take Golden Bachelor as a model for that
Yeah I got a Google Play Notification saying my 4K P+ is going to $17.99 in December, up from $13.99
So it’s no longer going to be $6.99 as a starting price?
That was really good I can’t lie
Do we think that Paramount + will stop offering Black Friday sale deals next year as part of financial restructuring after the Skydance Merger?
I heard there could be prices rises in early 2026 and getting rid of free trials.
Was able to get Paramount + for a year half price again on my other email address as my other one expires in a week or so.
I got it last year and it expires 3rd Dec. This new offer is only until 2 Dec. So I’m going to use my other account to access it for 50% off.
I think if I got it earlier last time and not the very last day
, I could have used the same account again to get it 50% off this time.
I paid $50 in April for the year. So that was good.
Paramount is usually one of my get it for a month every 4 months kinda platform. So if I don’t get a good yearly deal, I’ll just go back to that model
