Paramount+ Australia Debuts Official Trailer For Last King Of The Cross Season Two.

Premieres On Friday, 30 August.

Paramount+ Australia today debuted the official trailer for the eagerly awaited new season of its original series Last King of The Cross, with the first two exhilarating episodes premiering exclusively on the platform on Friday, 30 August. Episodes will then drop weekly, as the fictional series follows the character of John Ibrahim (Lincoln Younes) on his mission to capture Oxford Street’s late-night empire.

Internationally, Last King of The Cross season two will also premiere on Paramount+ Canada on August 30.

Having fled to Ibiza to escape his past, John finally returns to Sydney – only to find it’s not quite how he left it. The two younger Ibrahim brothers, Fadi (Alex Kaan) and Michael (Dave Hoey) have grown up, while older brother Sam (Claude Jabbour) remains in prison - steadily growing a following as he attempts to establish his own Black Flags chapter.

With Kings Cross all but dead in the wake of the Royal Commission, John tails a group of colourful partygoers to Oxford Street – the seductive, ecstasy-fuelled new centre of Sydney nightlife. John wants in, but it’s not going to be easy. Nightclub owner Ray Kinnock (Naveen Andrews – Lost, The Dropout, The English Patient) employs every trick in his well-connected arsenal to challenge John’s crown, while Dean Taylor (Luke Arnold) and Benny Vasquez (Matuse) emerge as new threats.

With Senior Sergeant Elizabeth Doyle (Tess Haubrich) following John’s every move and his own brothers causing chaos, John’s separate worlds of business, family, and crime, will collide across a spectacular and explosive eight episodes.

Last King of The Cross is a HELIUM Pictures production for Paramount+ Australia with Cineflix Rights as the exclusive international distribution partner. The series has received major production investment from Paramount Australia in association with Screen Australia and is financed with support from Screen NSW through the Made in NSW fund and Fulcrum Media Finance. Post, digital and visual effects supported by Screen NSW and Screen Queensland.

Check out the First Look promo below!

A ussie Shore is the first Australian iteration of the smash-hit, international reality “Shores” franchise. The outrageous original series’, Jersey Shore and Geordie Shore, were pioneering cultural phenomena that launched the career of the most famous of all partygoing housemates and our Aussie Shore House Boss, Charlotte Crosby.

The Aussie Shore house in which Charlotte presides, promises to be the epicentre of outrageously wild action that takes place in the non-stop party town of Cairns in tropical North Queensland, where the sun is hot, the drinks are cold and the tan lines aplenty.

We’ve already announced cheeky Welshman, Callum Hole. He will be joined by 10 fresh-faced, Aussie singletons who embody the Shore spirit and will come together as one big dysfunctional family for the most unforgettable and unfiltered summer of their lives with House Boss, Charlotte helping them navigate the highs and lows of living, working and partying together.

House Boss, Charlotte Crosby said: “I’ve never in my whole entire life met a group of people so crazy! If you thought us Geordies were wild, then you better brace yourselves as you’re about to have your minds blown. The Aussie Shore cast antics made my time on the show HUGELY enjoyable and utterly memorable on every level. I’m so excited to watch the whole series and hear what you all think!”

Our cast comes from across Australia representing different ethnicities, races, sexualities, lifestyles, gender and backgrounds.

CALLUM

Playboy Callum first appeared on our screens on Love Island Australia where his hilarious banter and spontaneity were a recipe for fun, but also disaster in the best way possible. More recently, he won a legion of fans on the latest season of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!. The charismatic jokester earned himself a third-place spot after Australia fell in love with his overall lack of knowledge on basically everything around him. Cheeky, naughty and wildly fun, Callum’s electric personality and endless energy always kept things interesting for his fellow campmates and those watching at home.

CATIA

Self-proclaimed ‘Hot Mess’ Catia will flirt with anything that breathes. The 23-year-old trainee PT falls in love every weekend and, according to her mates, goes missing on a night out so often they’ve started writing their phone numbers on her arms.

NARDOS

Perth law graduate Nardos just finished her studies but she’s not in a rush to get a job when she knows her partying ways can be funded by the bank of mum and dad… and the dole. The party animal will be a force of nature in the house, and on any dance floor she can find.

LEXIE

Pocket rocket Lexi may be 5’2 but her huge personality more than packs a punch. Pansexual (attracted to whoever she connects with), 23-years-old and a content creator, Lexie lives by the motto “f**k it”. Always down for some fun, be it a vodka or a nudie run, Lexie does what she wants and faces the consequences of her actions… later.

LILY

At just 21, Lily will be the baby of the house but she makes up for it with her impeccable vibes. Admittedly, Lily says she first gets noticed for her boobs, then her loud energy. But don’t get on her bad side, the mischief maker isn’t one to be messed with and while she may look sweet, she’ll ruin anyone that dares cross her.

JAEDA

On the job site, 22-year-old Jaeda describes herself as “conservative and mean”, but as soon as Friday arvo rolls around, the building manager transforms into a party monster. Jaeda’s gift of the gab is so powerful she once managed to flirt her way into getting a ride home from a paramedic in an ambulance.

MANAAKI

Tall, dark, handsome, and an impulsive sh*t-stirrer, model and professional heartbreaker Manaaki spends most of his time partying. With a heavily religious mum and a dad who was in a gang, the 22-year-old was exposed to both worlds growing up, and now lives his life as a shameless attention seeker.

CON

No stranger to hard work, be it in the barbershop he set up in his garage or on his rig, he takes pride in his appearance and hopes the women in his life do the same. At 27 and 6’0, Con hopes to be the alpha of the house, and believes his sense of humour (and knack for poetry) will be key to winning over the ladies, adding, “if you can make them giggle, you can make their arse jiggle”.

COOPER

A gym junkie covered in tatts, Cooper knows what it’s like for people to judge him, even his own mum describes him as “a bit of a c*ckhead”. Deep down the 27-year-old labourer and fitness model is a big softie and serial monogamist is always falling in love, until the “post nut clarity” kicks in and he’s on to the next lucky lady.

TOM

Tom certainly puts the ‘F boy’ in farm boy. Originally from country Victoria, the serial shagger knows his good looks can get him into trouble. On his last holiday he earned himself the title of most hated after sleeping with too many of the women on the trip.

KYLE

Describing himself as “probably gay… but a mix of bisexual”, Kyle’s own friends describe him as chaotic and ruthless on a night out. Working in a legal role in youth justice, the 25-year-old pot-stirrer doesn’t hold back when there’s drama afoot and is not afraid to get messy.

This new iteration of the iconic reality TV franchise promises to take viewers on a rollercoaster ride of drama, romance, and pure Australian mayhem.

Aussie Shore is supported by Screen Queensland’s Production Attraction Strategy.

Just watched 1st two episodes of season 2 of Last King of the Cross. This is the best local show (along with Boy swallows Universe) made by a “streamer”. The acting, production values, sets etc. are excellent. The story at times is just a bit violent for me but I accept it as part of the story. It’s just as well it’s being dropped weekly as I’d probably binge it all at once. :grinning: Well done Paramount+!

Does it flow well from Season 2?

Feel like I need to go watch the final episode of S01 before starting the new season.

It does feel a little like there isn’t as much hype this season.

They show previous scenes at the beginning of the episode. Probably not as much hype because it’s on Paramount+. IMO some like to put Paramount + down because it’s the same owners as 10. Personally I seem to watch more on there than other streamers. Have it for ALeague and I have watched all seasons of FBI plus lots of other content.
