The 1News brand needs a revamp as does their presentation style. The new boss is yet to make any changes, probably waiting for the merger with RNZ.

The one they used the other night on the 6pm bulletin.
My guess is they are using the black one because they’ve started using the red on white one as generic explainer lower third during the 6pm bulletin (which I hate).
