I believe Karl Stefanovic hosted the night session for London 2012 for Nine with Alicia Loxley presenting Olympic Updates. Mark Nicholas, Ken Sutcliffe, Cameron Williams and Leila McKinnon also hosted. McKinnon and Eddie McGuire commentated the opening ceremony for Nine.
Eddie also commentated the Marathon. That was interesting.
Can we get some context of where/when the cap is from?
It looks like Mary Gearin, current ABC News Victoria presenter. She used to work at Nine in sports but I wouldnāt say itās definitely her without knowing if the time of the cap matches up with her time at GTV.
It is from the 1998 Commonwealth Games on Channel Nine. This is part of my research for the website I have listed above that I am creating featuring history including screencaps and list of presenters etc of commonwealth, olympic and paralympic broadcasts.

Donāt recall if he was always the go to boxing commentator at Seven got Olympics as Pat Welsh did it as well but he did do TV Ringside back in the 70s I believe.

Seven Beijing 2008
In 2004 and 2008, Seven worked with the host broadcaster (Athens Olympic broadcasting and Beijing Olympic broadcasting) for coverage of all aquatics events at both Olympics.
Bruce McAvaney was also involved in the London 2012 Olympics calling swimming for Olympic Broadcasting Services (OBS) with Nicole Livingstone despite 7 not having the free to air rights to these games in Australia.
Fairly certain Tony Squires hosted parts of the 04 Olympics for 7.
