Large sections of that story seem entirely made up. I didn’t see any glitches on either the broadcast signal or the 9Now stream.

And Nine did not miss the first try. They missed part of the kick-only.

Yes, Nine came back from ad break just before the first try possibly missing 1 second of play. The placement of the ad followed a penalty goal. They cut a couple of seconds off the end of the ad so the end of the kick off was seen. So the only thing missed was the kick off.
