This morning’s Chrissie, Sam and Browny on Nova 100 was a best-of compilation show. Was there any issue that prevented the show to go live?
UPDATE: Herald Sun reports that there was a rumour that Jonathan Brown might have tested positive to COVID. A mad rush of phone calls was put in place by Nova Entertainment executive and program director Peter Clay last night to staff and on-air talent, telling them to follow government restrictions and get tested. The Nova and Smooth studios was subsequently shut down for deep cleaning.
Talking about the morning line up on Nova 969 it is so inconsistent,
Between 9:30 and 11:00am this morning it was Buzz, yesterday it was Jamie Row, we have had DC, and Mel on other days. WTF, the only thing that is consistent during the workday is Nova Boy Jamz, and the best of Ben and Liam at 12pm.
If you listen to KIIS you have K&J until around 10:30, and then Gordy until 3:00pm.
That is exactly what I thought too, he must be a master of the Zetta!!! recording his breaks for 969 during ad breaks on Nova 106.9 breakfast. He even put callers to air for the 50K Friday comp. Maybe they were from his Brisbane breakfast show cut and paste into Sydney.
Nova certainty works their dj’s hard if they have to do breaks for other cities while anchoring a breakfast show.
Herald Sun reports that Nova and smoothfm radio staff in Melbourne have been put back into lockdown after another COVID scare. It’s believed there was a positive rapid test result yesterday, with staff undergoing official testing after being notified that afternoon. Neither the Nova or smoothfm breakfast teams were on air this morning.
I was thinking wouldn’t Mel Tracina have been affected? She presents the 1pm-3pm slot on weekdays on Nova, and also went to the taping of the season finale of The Cheap Seats at 10’s South Yarra studios yesterday afternoon.
