Nine (WIN)

You wouldn’t to have the Facebook link of where people have been commenting do you?

The Border Watch in Mt Gambier hasn’t been a thing since August 21 so I’m guessing WIN doesn’t want to put any resources towards producing news updates without someone paying for it. As for the Riverland, who knows.

It was just on a local group forum

Not sure how long it’s been running for, but WIN have Spyforce on the Peach schedule at 9pm tonight. Good to have some Aussie content rather than just US.

Could this be the reason?

10 will have Paramount+ for streaming, WIN can start BruceGordon+ either via mail out DVDs or streaming online in 480p with a big ol’ watermark.

Sounds like the WIN network is dying in the Riverland

Lack of resources it was a whole 2 mins of recording a day. Most wouldn’t have even noticed it was gone.

Couldn’t the newspaper take out an ad each evening with a “in tomorrow’s paper” style?

It’s the same in the south east.

Hardly call it WIN dying. Surprised the 2 minute noodle updates lasted this long on WIN SA however.

I wonder how a WIN network and Ballarat courier partnership go?

Saw the MEJ variant of the “Enjoy your viewing on the WIN Network, thanks to this local business” sponsor. It actually cut into an custom MEJ 10-second sponsor advert with its own audio and music! Ironically, it started with “This program is sponsored by MEJ…”

ive heard in the last 24 hours from those in the know that WIN TV has secured the 9 affilation from June next year, with a hi placed WIN manager openly telling staff that is the case, and Bruce Gordon is going hard to buy PRIME and is lobbying Fed Parliament to have laws changed.
