The underrated tennis show - Cross Court - moves to the 10am slot this Sunday. With the Wide World of Sports program finishing up for the year two days ago.

Todd Woodbridge and Jelena Docic still host thus show. To talk about the week it was in the tennis world. And what’s ahead.

Good first teaser, just saw it on 9Now.

Something I think Seven didn’t do very well, just became a bit complacent and expected the viewers, would only roll some out in late December and would focus on the wider summer rather than the showpiece AO.

Day 1 doesn’t have night session. Rest would be as normal. Just the way it’s been coded

Day 1 coveraged listed until 10pm.

The “night” coding continues at 6pm AEDT until Saturday’s semifinals. I checked 2024/25 schedule and they did the same practice.

Wonder how many day sessions ended up spilling over into the “night”.

Missed this from a month ago, a Daily Telegraph story looking at the major summer sports and battle for viewers between Seven and Nine, nothing particularly noteworthy I don’t think.

Paywalled, but I asked AI to provide an overview and it basically said the article apparently talked about how both networks rely on the programming to showcase promotion for upcoming 2026 shows in February which is crucial for ad dollars in a time of downturn.
