When was the last time Nine didn’t use the WWOS logo for sport? Could be a sign of things to come

I’m surprised they didn’t use their WWOS logo, although didn’t they just use ‘9’ and Olympics rings during London 2012?

9Now live stream (court raw feed taking the world feed including different commentary) of Nine’s main channel match at the moment, also a different watermark:
Stan Sport taking the same world feed, but with a different watermark again (same style as Nine’s AO one but 9 replaced with Stan Sport and Paris 2024 replaced with the date).
And yes graphics are TA.

I wonder how long until we have our first protest interruption somewhere at Melbourne Park? You can bet if not a court/arena, they’ll try Nine’s studio 
They said there’ll be zero tolerance to disruptions and Police/PSOs/security is always everywhere, but they’ll always find a way…

Huge improvement on the graphics, well done TA.
Nine’s plonked desk in the middle of nowhere has never quite worked for me. I miss the old days of Seven’s raised spot. You got a greater sense of all the movement around Melbourne Park.

Huh? It was literally a shipping container-esque glassed window box, with a desk, chair and a still back-drop of RLA’s roof, above the Garden Square entrance. But definitely agree with you on those sleek new graphics.

9Gem now going to show next Australian Dane Sweeney, Woodbridge and Dellacqua doing the call, Emma threw to them, surely that means this was targeted for main channel and they’ll be doing a switch? Wildcard aussie Walton (who put up a fight in the first set and a bit including a tiebreak) now getting thrashed.

Tony’s very average and needs to decide if he wants to be a presenter/journalist or a third rate shock jock. However, he’s still preferable over Mel McLaughlin.

I feel they only do it because he’s a 3 decade stalwart of the network & GTV and obviously a local household sports broadcasting name, more so Nine News and Sunday Footy Show, also part of telecasts like AFL, Comm Games and Winter Olympics over the years too. Did he ever take part in cricket?
Wouldn’t want to piss him off and for him to suddenly quit his contract and go elsewhere… Or maybe that’s exactly what they’d like
