The 9Network is set to kick off another blockbuster year of AFL, with four programs across the week. Footy Classified is returning for a Monday and Tuesday night double-header, while the Sunday Footy Show enters its 33rd season. Plus, Footy Furnace and Players return bigger and better for 2026.
Fan-favourite AFL Sunday Footy Show returns to its traditional morning slot to review the action and preview the day ahead. Host Tony Jones leads an all-star cast including Matthew Lloyd, Damian Barrett, Nathan Brown, Rory Sloane and Jess Webster on Sunday, March 8 at 10.00am on Channel 9 and 9Now.
From legendary players to the leagueâs top newsbreakers, Footy Classified is the home of fearless footy analysis and the panels will deep dive into the biggest stories and breaking news from the league.
This Monday night will remain the destination for hard-hitting news and the weekendâs fallout. Led by Sam McClure, the panel features Essendon legend Matthew Lloyd, newsbreaker Damian Barrett and Geelong premiership star Jimmy Bartel. Together, they will dissect every controversial moment from the round that was.
This Tuesday night will see a new addition to the lineup. Eddie McGuire will be joined by Essendon icon James Hird and AFL premier draft and trade expert Callum Twomey.
Plus, five-time premiership player for Hawthorn, Dermott Brereton will be coming back to Nine making guest appearances across the programs.

Headlining the field at Kooyonga Golf Club are womenâs Major Champions Hannah Green, Grace Kim and Minjee Lee, joined by fellow LPGA Tour players Steph Kyriacou and Cassie Porter, who will have their eyes on the prizepool of $1.7 million.
Itâs the first time in history two reigning Australian Major champions, Lee and Kim, have competed in an Australian Open.
All up 31 Australians will line up in the field, hoping to add their names alongside the likes of five-time victor Karrie Webb as Australian Open champions.
