I agree Heidi’s a refreshing change, they should find a permanent spot for her, maybe she could take over Weekend Break. I don’t want to see Tom bumped off from Drive though, I think he’s one of 3AW’s sharpest presenters and he’s very knowledgeable about pretty much everything.
Maybe when Neil Mitchell retires, Tom moves to Mornings and Heidi on Drive.

I disagree, Heidi belongs on drive and not on a fluff show on the weekends.
I have said before, Tom is about himself and not the callers. There is the least talkback on his program of all programs.

And you can tell she listens to the callers whereas they mostly seem bothersome to Elliot unless they’re parroting word for word his views on an issue.

I enjoyed Quarters with Emily over summer. I always find the breakfast fill-ins on 3AW to be great.
Justin Smith with Kate Stevenson was my highlight in recent years but Kate is no longer at 3AW.

I’d say its more-so a local trial to see how she fits in, given Deborah Knight is still actually on-air this week. The re-addition of a local afternoons program would be one of the next logical program additions.

If it wasn’t for the sudden lockdown though, would Deb actually be on this week? Wouldn’t Sofie have been heard in Sydney as well?
Nine Syndication indicates that Joe Hildebrand is slated to fill in on the show next week for Sydney while Sofie continues in Brisbane. So perhaps separating the show for a couple of weeks was still part of the plan?

Also loving Elise on afternoons this week. She doesn’t take herself too seriously and just handles the program really well without editorialising everything.
I’m a fan of Dee Dee but it does get a bit tiresome when she does it all the time.

I am enjoying Stephen and Emily on Breakfast, I am finding them more relaxing to listen to, than Ross and Russ.
I like Ross and Russ, but sometimes find them a bit over the top. I think the journalistic backgrounds of Stephen and Emily suit the program better, but that is my opinion.
Friday is Mikayla’s last show as producer, sad to see her go.

Can’t really put my finger on what it is, but I’m not really a fan of Alicia Loxley on radio, much better suited to newsreading. I prefer Elise Elliott filling in for Dee Dee.
