That show doesn’t skip a beat when Kate is in the chair. I hope Nine realised they have a future radio star in their midst and stops promoting television talent to host 3AW shifts.

It was then revealed that Seven paid for the spot on the show.

Yes, Jane made a big deal about how 3AW had “sacked” her and was looking for sympathy. Until the commercial arrangement was revealed and made it obvious what really happened.

Tim Gilbert to host new Friday night radio program
Popular broadcaster Tim Gilbert is returning to radio to host a new Friday night program on Nine Radio’s 2GB, 3AW and 4BC.
Your Weekend with Tim Gilbert will be heard on Friday’s 7pm-8pm across the non-NRL/AFL months, providing tips and ideas on how you can make the most of your weekend.
“Whether it’s fishing, travel, spending time in the kitchen or fixing the back deck during lockdown, Tim will have something for everyone each Friday night.” said Greg Byrnes, Head of Content for Nine Radio.
“Tim knows talk, our audience knows Tim and this new show is the perfect launchpad for his long-awaited return to radio.”
Gilbert has worked across Channel 9 and Sky News but began his broadcasting career at 2GN in Goulburn, before several years at 2UE.
“I’m excited returning to my first love, radio, three decades after my first gig in Goulburn. In a very heavy news cycle, we’ll be taking you down the bright side of the road for an hour each Friday night and exploring everything that’s good in the world. I can’t wait to work with some of my great mates again and chat with the Nine Radio listeners,” Gilbert said.
For commercial partners, Your Weekend provides a unique opportunity to open key sponsorship campaigns with the 40-54 demographic right along the east coast.
That means Money News will only air Monday-Thursday in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane during summer months.

Stevie Jacobs is on 2gb Saturday night 7pm to 10pm and also does breakfast 6am to midday weekdays… He works hard.
I wonder what Pete Graham would say about this?
What is with 2GB stealing shows that should be on 2UE?
Why not have Stevie actually do a live shift weekdays on the music stations with similar content?

Yeah 2ue is the poor cousin of GB, it’s frustrating the newish owners are just using the same strategy. It is just like a dab channel at the moment.

Hopefully no one remembers. I went to the Mind Body & Spirit Festival at Darling Harbour many many years ago. I was extremely dubious about the whole thing but had my palm read just to see what the woman said. After telling me some vague stuff, she then told me my mother wanted me to give her a telephone call. When I said my mother had died about 20 years earlier the woman quickly said my mother wanted to talk to me from the other side. I remember little else about it as it was a farce, as was the Polaroid I had taken of my aura.
Those people are charlatans. 2GB and 2UE both had a long line of clairvoyants over the years, with Steve Murphy who was on 2GB being the absolute worst and unintentionally hysterically funny. Murphy would always feel something in his loins when he was getting some sort of message.

I believe Sharina’s association with 2UE/Talking Lifestyle 954AM Sydney (and other stations which carried her show) ended around Easter 2018, just prior to the launch of Macquarie Sports Radio.
As for what she’s been up to since, your guess is as good as mine!
