Is this ident still playing on Metro 9Life? SCA have been airing a version with the first 5 seconds removed to cover up sponsor billboards, but the older ident still airs after shows, hinting Metro Nine phased it out…

Adelaide here. I haven’t seen the full 15 seconds in a long time, but the shortened version from 8sec onwards is still reasonably frequent. It mostly gets played before a program starts.

There’s nothing stopping them from using the final four-tone sting from “Still the One”, they used it through the first two phases of the “Welcome Home” era.

…but of course, “Sti-ll The One” and “We-l-come Home” have the same number of syllables!

I think the more accurate syllable structure would be “We’re Still the One”, four syllables. Same with the current “We Are The One”.
“We-l-come Home” isn’t as natural, but the slogan doesn’t necessarily have to fit the sting
