Presumably. Donât know where else they would do it. Melbourne is at least free given they donât use it for anything else other than Footy Classified (which would probably be off air during the Olympics) and Sunday Footy Show (which is on when there arenât any events).

Nine Olympic news update with Roz Kelly just featured. Is this new or has it occurred before. I donât watch much of Nine in prime time.
Nine really going above and beyond for these games. Much better than we have ever saw from seven and it hasnât even started yet.

They have done theme here and there. I am really impressed with Nine so far. I will be in Paris so will miss the coverage but it is going to be what I would say is the best Olympic coverage in Australia ever

If you have roaming on your phone and use 5g you can get the coverage on your device from 9Now.
I was in Europe last year and did the $5 a day on Vodafone for international roaming and I could tap into our own apps. I was able to watch the Matildaâs games via 7+. The device thinks itâs in Melbourne so it avoids the geo block. Of course $5 a day extra is an added expense but well worth it.

Wait two questions-
- Has the olympics aired yet?! If not, why are they running âOlympic updatesâ already? (Assuming to drum up hype)
- Do you reckon theyâll jack up the price for Stan to make the most of the inflated earnings? (should be illegal but still) Since Iâm hoping to use Stan for the viewing if 9now doesnât have all the sports, etc but iâm not willing to pay ridiculous pricing (for example $25+ a day)

There still doing trials for events this the main reason why you get updates in the lead up.

The updates are largely covering things associated with qualifying for the Olympics, so it is quite relevant and news worthy and potentially otherwise lost in the rest of the news for some of the lesser known sports.

Just been looking at the schedule for the games and unfortunately for nine and Australian fans, the Matildaâs preliminary group games will all air at 3am AEST. Wouldâve been hoping for a morning kick off at least once to get some prime time coverage.
Nine will kick off prime time each night with live swimming heats from 7pm AEST. The finals will air from 4:30am. Perfect timing for those who want to get up early watch the swimming finals and head off to work.
