Alicia Loxley filed a report tonight. Being Victorian, interstate friends, how often will your weekday presenters do a voice for a story?
In Sydney, almost never. Happens probably once a week on NBN News though.
According to The Australian’s Media Diary, Tracy Grimshaw has accepted a much smaller contract at Nine, pulling back from the hefty package she retained after leaving A Current Affair.
Given that she’s doing pretty much next to nothing at the moment, it’s still pretty ‘hefty’ I’d say.
Why would she still be getting paid? I didn’t think she was still employed but did she have some insane amount of leave to be paid out or a contract until a certain time?
Wouldn’t leaving the position be the end of that contract?
Sometimes presenters get warehoused or allocated special projects to keep them in the ‘family’
Madeline Spark is back from holidays and presenting weather in Melbourne tonight
That was Nathan Currie who’s gonna leave the Nine Network
I’ve been a fan of Jerrie here in the UK for some years since the infamous earing drop when she was on Nine. A model and an amazing singer also of course
Liz Daniels is leaving the 9 News Canberra newsroom and is moving to NSW State Parliament. Not sure if she is staying at 9 or moving into an advisory role like many journalists do.
Hoped she would replace Charles in the future as 9 political editor
Tom and Alicia finish up for the year tonight in Melbourne.
Brett McLeod filling in from next week.
Going to work for the new opposition leader perhaps?
Great presenter he is
NBN’s Bianca Whereat reporting on Nine News tonight at the firefront in Redhead.
Maggie Raworth on Sydney weather. Really getting a workout this weekend.
