Clint also wrote about his impending departure from Nine on his Instagram yesterday. His post received a huge response from his colleagues at Nine and rival networks.
It seems very strange. Maybe the couldn’t agree a new contact?

It doesn’t seem that strange to me.
He’s worked every day for god knows long and built up his profile enough now that he doesn’t need to do weekend/fill-in TV.
There aren’t any fulltime gaps opening up in the short term but even if he’s out of TV, he could easily slot back in in the future.

I agree on this one. I think he’d prefer staying on radio instead of TV because after the axing of their radio show in KIIS those three really gel when they came in from KIIS to Nova in Melbourne.

Yes I never understood why he presented weekend sport in Melbourne and did Today from Sydney same day. Thought he’d drop only one of those gigs not both
