That would be similar to how TCN and ATN have their skycams in similar areas.
I know in the past QTQ had their skycam look towards the side of the Story Bridge between 2004-12 before changing it in about 2012.

There was a emotional interview between Davina Smith and Jacqui Lambie during the Sydney 4pm bulletin regarding the report into defence force sucides.
Davina sounded close to tears at the end, her voice was definitely breaking as she followed that interview with the weather preview.
Jacqui was quite emotional too, obviously a subject very close to both of them.
It was quite touching to watch.
The interview itself was pre-recorded. I dare say she got emotional watching it back as it played out. It was a great and emotional chat.
Solo Gold Coast news with Eva Milic.
Weather with Makenna Baily
Sport was from the GC Suns end of year
QTQ’s skycam was on top of the Woollongabba Telephone Exchange for many years and is probably still there.
Maybe it works better for him (IIRC he is Brisbane based) put pulling one half of your main anchor from another news bulletin to fill-in in sport, which really anyone could do, is an interesting choice by 9.
Kate Creedon presenting Sydney’s afternoon news, with Davina Smith reporting from Lifeline’s World Suicide Prevention Day event
Yes correct. That is where the current camera is.
Solo again with Paul in Brisbane and Luke was on Gold Coast weather tonight and sport was off to the Titans end of season
Solo Brisbane as well
Tom Steinfort reporting from the CBD tonight. Alicia in studio.
His first venture outside a studio setting since 60?
Ah so hosting a portion from there rather than in the action reporting.
He did an OB earlier this year in Ballarat IIRC
Yeah if he did it’s the same as this. I thought he was reporting out in the action but this is essentially studio-style (reading a teleprompter and standing in one spot rather than out and about reporting).
They have reporters to do what you’re taking about.
Tom is a presenter.
