5.30-6, reading Nine Regional QLD, 6.40-6.50 (approx) reading Sports for Nine News QLD then 7.00-8.00 (QLD Time) reading Nine News Darwin.
Tracey Smith who’s filling in for Gold Coast News has to fly out the door at 6pm and fill in for weather (usually at an OB) for Nine News QLD.
I believe he’s being covered on Darwin this week.
Well he’s not sticking around to the end of the 6pm bulletin.

This is possibly the first time in a decade (if not longer) that Nine News Sydney has had the same presenter for a Christmas Day/Night bulletin two years in a row.

Don’t think I can post the official numbers on here until TV.Cynic has posted them, however Jayne Azzopardi on Nine News Sydney lost the ratings battle last night to relatively new presenter Alex Hart over on Seven News Sydney, by 43k in the 6pm half hour and 34k in the 6:30pm half hour.
I wonder if it’s because The Chase was on at 5pm as usual but Nine had a kids movie before the news.
That might be the case. A lot of people are familiar with The Chase on before the news, unlike a random movie.
