Whatās going on with the sports presenter in Adelaide?
Speculation in The Advertiser that Warren Tredrea (weeknight sport presenter 9News Adelaide) has been benched by Nine for being unvaccinated against COVID-19.
Speaking on FIVEaaās Roweyās Sports Show in September, Tredrea, 42, rejected any suggestion he was an anti-vaxxer.

āNo Iām not, Iām fully vaccinatedā¦ but Iām not Covid vaccinated,ā he said.
His disappearance coincides with Nine introducing a double vaccination mandate for everyone on its site nationally.
What a wanker. Iām fully vaccinated but not COVID vaccinated. Move on. Replace him. Next.
Eh donāt really care if he doesnāt come back. Heās not very warm and his presentation is very average and lacks passion.
Tom Rehn is a better presenter on weeknights. Maybe one of Edward Godfrey, Mike Lorigan or Cam Inglis etc. could take over weekends.

Sheās still with Nine but perhaps on a part-time or casual basis to solely file special reports every now and again. She was on Peter Hitchenerās regular spot on 3AW on Tuesday afternoon so that could indicate sheās still with Nine.

Looks like Nine are trying to walk around the issue, simply saying heās gone on holidays early.
A Nine spokesperson told the newspaper Tredrea has gone on holidays immediately.

She is nearly mid 60s. Most people retire by then. I assume she is casual and āretiredā.
Not everyone wants to go on and on. Still canāt believe Hitch is still going lol, mid 70s! Canāt say I know a hell of a lot who keep working full time at that age.
