Georgie Gardner is presenting Nine News
Cue the speculation. Sorry, couldnât resist!
But in all seriousness, Pete was away during the corresponding weekend last year? So he might just be taking time off during the NSW School Holidays.
What speculation would that be?
That all three main presenters are possibly busy with other things at the momentâŚ
are you⌠keeping a diary?
Being @SydneyCityTV, itâs more likely to be a spreadsheet
Diaries are also so 20th century.
Ehhh diaries? Whatâs that?
Georgie Gardner absolutely smashed Mark Ferguson in Sydney last night.
Was just about to note that. (I know youâre attempting to be a smart arse. Just not sure why? Trying to turn this into a gender thing? Weird.)
Nine News Sydney is so powerful it appears that Tim Bailey could present the news and still beat Seven.
Probably because of the NRL lead in, but Nine still wouldâve won either way.
Nine News Sydney would still beat Seven if the entire bulletin was just a shot of the Sydney harbour without a presenter saying anything.
And the fact that Seven didnât even manage to get past the 350k mark across the rest of their primetime schedule.
Wow impressive for Nine News. Nine Beats Seven by 100K in both Sydney and Melbourne.
Helps that Nine had the NRL finals leading into the Sydney news while Seven didnât have any AFL leading into their Melbourne news.
Alicia Loxley is filling in for Dee Dee Dunleavy on 3AW afternoons this week.
Donât be surprised if Brett McLeod fills in for Alicia on the 6pm bulletin in Melbourne this weekend.
Monday 5 October & Tuesday 6 October-
Brett McLeod is presenting Afternoon News in Melbourne filling in for Alicia Loxley.
After a two week holiday Livinia is back presenting weather in Melbourne this week.
Monday-Thursday: Georgie Gardner presenting in Sydney this week
Peteâs on holiday?
Thatâs his business.
Tony Jones mentioned at the end of sport that Steve Russell who was a cameraman at GTV-9 for 36 years sadly passed away yesterday.
