Speaking of ratings, it wasnât just in the Queensland capital where Seven stamped its authority this week with their all-important 6pm flagship bulletins.
The big red bus rolled right over their rivals in four of the five-city metros on the first night of the fierce ratings war, with Melbourne the only holdout for Nine.
And all this despite Nineâs reality TV juggernaut Married At First Sight dominating the battle for eyeballs later in the evening!
This is in reference to the Sunday ratings. What did the MAFS later in the night have to do with anything when Seven has the cricket in the afternoon leading into 6pm?
And since then Nine News has won Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 5 city ratings since then by healthy margins winning all east coast markets.

Shocking CCTV reveals break-in at TV news presenterâs home
Chilling CCTV has shown the moment the home of 9News presenter Dominique Loudon and NRL star Martin Lang was broken into, in what she described as a âreally confrontingâ experience.
The coupleâs Burleigh residence was the most recent target in a spate of crimes gripping the Gold Coast.
The sports presenter went on maternity leave in early February.

Is QLD still looking for a dual presenter format� I still feel like Paul is a strong contender for the chair. His progression in his roles since joining Nine is quite strong.

I like Paul too. It would make sense for him to get the job so then Eva can go back to presenting full time.

Eva hasnât been presenting full time for years. Even before she went to the GC she scaled back to 3 days per week on 9 Live Queensland.

Eva was part time because that is what she wanted
That was years ago. Things change. People grow. If presented with the opportunity she might be in a better place in life to accept the role full time.
Years ago, like 18 months ago when she dropped from four days to three?
(BTW, I think it has no influence over whether Paul is promoted or not).
