I donāt know why theyāre bothering with female suggestions. Absolutely never going to happen.
Iād be doing a Tom Steinfort and seeing if any Queenslanders interstate want to return home.
I canāt see them going with two female presenters, much for the same reason I canāt see them going with 2 male presentersā¦ helps to balance out the delivery and adds diversity.
It is seems incorrect to say that Mia Glover is on leave as she has been seen on air as mentioned before.

Wonder if this is just unfounded speculation or genuine industry chatter.
Seems like PT was going to job share with Eva for the GC at least for now, making it more likely that Jono Uptin would join Melissa. This seems to me like the most natural fit.
Otherwise Iād be quite happy to see Melissa stay solo as mentioned above. She holds her own just fine as did Lofty when presenting solo.

Since December, Paul has been doing Gold Coast news a few days a week and then the weekend news. With the Courier Mail mentioning Mia, it makes sense why they would be holding off on an announcement until she returns so that Paul can continue doing weekends. Sarah heading off from Seven is good timing to launch the double header too.
Is Adam Hegarty from QLD?
There is no way it will be Mia. I think it will be Paul Taylor but will still coincide with Mia being back on weekends for consistency.

Bill McDonald is in the Nine stable as Mornings host for 9 radio in Brisbane. I wonder if he is an option for 9 news at 6pm. Would be a long day.
