So now with Monika Kos joining the Perth news team, the presenter team will most likely be something like the following:
Weekdays/Late news - Michael Thomson
Weekends - Tracy Vo
Afternoon News - Monika Kos
Fill-ins: Michael Genovese, Jerrie Demasi (Until they move to the states) and Elizabeth Creasy (she filled in once I believe)
No doubt Tracy and Monika will also fill-in for Michael Thomson when needed.

I’ve only really been exposed to Allan Raskall’s reporting style during the 4pm bulletin and (when it was still running, of course) Nine News Now - it seemed reasonable enough there.
But I could imagine that things get a bit quirkier with the full versions of Allan’s stories during the 6pm bulletin, similar to how Nine reserves the best “Dalts Gold” for the 6pm bulletin versions of his reports here in Sydney.

Great to see Perth continuing some form of investment in the news not throwing in the towel just yet.
Definitely a bulletin that deserves more ratings and I’ve never understood the loyalty to 7 over there, very devoted audience to Rick and sue.

Acting camp is a pathetic way to attract attention for yourself.
We’ve had this discussion about pigeon holing and stereotypes before and this is probably not the place for it but because you seem intent on reviving it yet again (and trolling me for having “issues” with it previously) I’ll throw my 2 cents in before moving on.
If you haven’t met the person or interacted with them you can hardly assert the way he presents himself is an “act”. I thought this type of inflexible mindset went out with the “all male ballet dancers must be gay” and “pink is for girls and blue is for boys” rubbish. Just because someone doesn’t fit within your prescribed range of how a heterosexual male should act, it doesn’t mean he is being offensive. Just as there are gay males with very masculine traits who don’t behave in a camp manner, there are plenty of heterosexual males who have a flamboyant streak and exhibit traits stereotyped to gay men. There are shades of pink and blue within sexual orientation.
Let’s move on…
