With Stefanovic joining 60 Minutes, I think we will rarely see him anchor at 6pm (maybe over Christmas again this year). And if rumours are true, Jayne Azzopardi won’t be at TCN next year.
Must be busy for her, but better for the viewers right

I think I’d have mixed feelings if that became true. As much as it would be great for Jayne to become the new European correspondent, her newsreading career has really flourished over the last year or so.

[/quote]l understand what you saying and agree but if she does head overseas she won’t be there forever.Down the track she would probably return to newsreading,whatever happens l predict a very bright future at Nine for Jayne.

I think if Jayne does move to the UK, possibly Amelia Adams or Davina Smith would return from mat leave to replace her.
Deb could then stay on Mon/Fri morning news and afternoon news with Amber Sherlock continuing on Nine News Now.
Either Amelia or Davina (whoever isn’t doing Weekend Today) could do Tue-Thur Morning and Afternoon News.
Tom Steinfort could be a fill in for the daytime bulletins.
It would look like this:
Today
Weekdays - Karl, Lisa, Sylvia, Tim, Richard, Steve
Weekends - Tom Steinfort, Deb, Amelia, Natalia
Morning & Afternoon News
Mon & Fri - Deb
Tues - Thurs - Davina
Nine News Now
Mon - Thurs - Amber
Fri - Natalia

Well Davina Smith is expected to return in a few months, and I expect her to return either part-time or full-time back to the Morning/Afternoon News.

I think that is very very likely. Which is probably why Madeline Slattery started presenting weather (to become a fill-in).

Bec seems like a lovely person and does have a great personality but I am sorry, she was a shocking weather presenter as seen when the autocue failed one night.
The way she’s acted around Tony Jones doesn’t convince me of that, she seems a bit snobby.

Ahh yes…who could ever forget the forecast from Bec in November 2013 when the autocue was down and she didn’t have all of the printed script!
BTW, I agree that Rebecca Judd seems like a lovely person but isn’t a great weather presenter.

Emily Rice filled in a few times earlier this year but wasn’t that good,whereas Madeline made her presenting debut on the weekend and was fantastic.So most likely Justine will be on weeknights when Livinia starts her holidays and Madeline on weekends over summer.

Brodie Harper who did Livinia Nixon 1st Maternity Leave cover did a much better job of presenting weather.
