Why isn’t she filling-in for Peter over summer?
Summer holiday plans/cover would have been agreed upon months ago.

We’re talking about the same network where Peter Harvey Opening VOs remain used in Sydney most nights, more than six years (closer to seven now, actually) after his death.
Again, I get how important Harves is to the history of Nine and especially TCN but surely enough time has passed that they can move on without controversy?
As it’s been suggested before - Brian Henderson. You know it makes sense for Nine News Sydney to record some Opening VOs with him (I can just imagine “This is Nine News…” being delivered in the style of “This is Brian Henderson…” right now!) if they can, while they still can!

Same with Peter Hitchener in Melbourne when he retires, Bruce Paige in south-east Queensland, Rob Kelvin in Adelaide (and probably Peter Waltham or Peter Holland in Perth).
Waltham and Christine Parker were [National] Nine News Perth’s newsreaders when they rated higher than Seven [Nightly] News back in 1990.
