And she is tweeting what’s coming up for the bulletin on her twitter as usual.
A extra busy day for Deb but as we know here she handles the extra workload and has had days like this in the past.
I saw on Nine’s Afternoon news today an interview of politician Tanya Plibersek conducted by Chris Uhlmann. It was done in a car with Chris driving and featured some in car karaoke!
Haven’t seen anything on Aussie TV quite like that before.
had one with Julie Bishop the other day.
Last week it with Julie Bishop.
Tanya and Julie will be on the Election night panel so Chris is getting to know them better in a car ride.
I’m struggling to make out who the people are in those caps posted…
With Pete and Deb both presenting the election coverage, Mark Burrows is presenting in Sydney tonight
Saturday (18.05.2019): Melissa Downes and Andrew Lofthouse have been hauled in to present in Brisbane on Election night.
Adam Hegarty is presenting sport.
Julie Bishop will probably be appearing on Nine more often now.
Lelia’s such a talent, so rare to see her report these days more ACA, But i do recall she did report for the local NSW 2015 election.
I suspect one of the main reasons why we don’t see Leila McKinnon as often on Nine as we used to is because she apparently lives in Byron Bay these days.
That said, I wouldn’t be overly surprised if McKinnon is still Nine’s first choice of a successor to Tracy Grimshaw when the time comes.
Nine Sydney sports reporter Hayley Willis features in this week’s Stellar magazine, with her fiancee Fiona Falkiner (former host of The Biggest Loser). Willis proposed to Falkiner in Vanuatu in April after 10 months together.

Laura Tunstall is due back from maternity leave next week which means Alice Monfries will soon return home to Adelaide (she’d been in Sydney for the past twelve months covering Tunstall’s and Kate Creedon’s maternity leaves).
Monfries herself is expecting towards the end of the year.
