Well if you really want to know, I’m probably going to watch the Royal Easter Show report from Dalts (perhaps catching up online with the piece from Sarina Andaloro on Seven - a surprisingly interesting Showground reporting battle has emerged this year!) and not much else.

Who fills in when Michael Thompson is away over in Perth? It should be Tracy Vo, if it isn’t, so that she is given more opportunities to present the main bulletin. She is very talented and capable of taking that gig permanently.
I prefer Michael over Tracy

Extremely short staffed on the Gold Coast tonight. Eva Milic read solo, presented sport and weather.
Seems that Nine has only recorded one opener for the bulletin - all last week when Bruce was solo and again tonight it was “Nine Gold Coast News with Bruce Paige and Eva Milic.”

There should be a generic one that doesn’t mention any names suitable for all scenarios.
Short staffed- possibly. But, I’d say there is a lack of talented reporters capable of presenting across both the GC and regional bureaus and the Brisbane headquarters.
