Justine Conway presenting weather in Melbourne tonight.
And that is exactly why I said the position was good for Wendy. It is just such a shame someone so talented (just like Georgie Gardner and Alicia Loxley) are restricted to local news and arenât regularly exposed to a national audience.

Georgie Gardner is still presenting Sydneyâs 6pm news tonight
Because they trust her, as they should, without feeling the need to bring in their main anchor to host the coverage. (Although Pete is reporting).

Kerrie Yaxley is now on maternity leave.
As of tonight. She reported on Nine Election coverage and was given a decent farewell. Laurie Oakes joked for her not to stay away too long. Hear, Hear Laurie.
Early News:
Monday (04.07.16)- Wednesday (06.07.16): Cassandra Wood is reading the Early News. This is the first time I have seen her presenting and I must say she is very good. Thursday (07.07.16): Airlie Walsh returned to present.
Morning and Afternoon News

I can confirm that, at least for tonight anyway. Deb presented the latest Nine News Sydney update and said that weâll be joining her at 6pm. This would be the first time that sheâs presented a Nine News Sydney bulletin since returning from maternity leave, right? ![]()
