It is
Nine News Central Qld reporter was used to report from Callide power station on the 6pm news. Ironically she didnât provide a report for the 5.30 statewide bulletin as that didnât cover the story.
I saw that too (in Canberra tonight).
Has she presented on Southern NSW before?
Quite a few times.
The Denison Street gremlins struck the NSW local bulletin tonight. Vision from Hannah Taylorâs story on Dubbo Council failed to play but audio of the first couple of sentences played three times while the camera was still on Natassia Soper. She went to the next report after an excruciating 20 seconds. It also failed to play and she threw to a break. Vision later froze at the end of that Dubbo Council report when they tried to run it again.
Do you have a video?
The NSW/ACT backdrop is not as crisp as QLDâs. What studio is the bulletin being produced out of nowadays?
Gremlins? Is that a new term for foreign purveyors of malware?
(I always liked the term miscreants.)
I wouldnât be surprised if Nine are still dealing with some residual issues from the ransomware attack.
I agree, the closed captions are nowhere near as good as they used to be for instance (for the 6pm Sydney bulletin at least).
They transported the previous Regional NSW set over to Dension Street and have been using that for the past few months on NNL and Early News I believe.
Studio D (the shoebox) is currently not being used.
nah the old NNL set is being used for Stan sport and other crosses for other shows and network locations. NNL is in the old ACA studio. (according to a director that works at 1 D)
Sadly, this dodgy animation with the boat crossing land as it heads out to sea didnât make it into the freak whale encounter report in the Sydney bulletin. Itâs not often you get a laugh in the middle of a story concerning a tragedy.
Surely thatâs also meant to be North Narooma as well? If thatâs the case I find the spelling worse than the animation and the complete disregard for physics.
Reports on Twitter indicate that is wasnât hail. There was sleet in Tuggeranong. Though it did hail last night in parts of Belconnen and Gungahlin last night.
Yes, itâs on channel 83 until the end of the month.
I see what you did there! Pity the days of analogue are long gone too where a channel disappearing would also leave you with snow!
I was in Tuggeranong this afternoon and there was definitely a small area that had snow as I drove through it on the way home. Pulled over and checked it out, definitely snow.
I was also in Belconnen last night and it wasnât hail, it was sleet. At least at my place.
