I think it was mentioned a bit further up that they would be, presumably because the metro bulletins will be getting ready on the main 6pm set before these bulletins finish. But, given that these bulletins are statewide, it wouldn’t surprise me if some introductions are prerecorded on the metro set during the day (ie, standing intros) for feature regional stories.
Is there any reason to suspect it will be different to before? Darwin is not part of the 9/SCA arrangement so the new 5.30 news for SCA has nothing to do with Darwin?

It almost looks like the camera is on the floor of the set when taking this shot, looks rather awkward.
If it was up higher the backdrop would be splendid. Wonder why Nine didn’t consider something like this in the beginning instead of their disgusting backdrops they’ve had for the past 3 years.

Calling it “9 News Sunshine Coast” I see. Was expecting “Nine News across Queensland” or something like that. Still good to see local updates though!
Interesting… local updates for each market. But will be one state wide bulletin.
Also the content in that update is good. 3 local stories plus 2 state stories that travel well and feel local

The alert graphic is horrendous and always has been.
Surprised they haven’t branded the bulletins something generic like “Nine News at 5:30”
