Nine News Late

It’s just pathetic. By Nine for commercialising their weather segment for something irrelevant to most of the audience. And for taxpayers of WA paying for an ad to an audience where most can’t cannot go to WA.

But they can? Our borders are open except for SA, nsw & Victoria…

My point exactly. Over 60% of the population ruled out.

Is there any particular reason why they don’t have a dedicated Late news presenter?

Should use the new news exchange as the backdrop. looks good.

Really? Im not a fan of it.
It’s clear that its out of perspective and not the right scale.

Agree, the angle also looks strange and doesn’t look right for broadcast.

I think what’s wrong is the depth of the screens that are set back on the left and the image used, and then the screens behind Pete look like they’re on a strange curve next to the others.

that looks great!

There’s a decent lead time to these sorts of segment promotions - I’d say 2-4 weeks. The SA outbreak wasn’t foreseen, but regardless of that, it’s always good to stick a reminder at the beginning of summer in case travel restrictions do loosen up. Ads are always a bet.

I’d say it would be how their rosters have been built, better to use existing resources sharing than a dedicated resource which could make the bulletin more expensive.

Picture on the right looks bad. Messy cables.

Last nights bulletin

The swirls are all over the place and too much. Also the 9 News logo is out of place. It shouldn’t be placed there.

Great to see the bulletin remaining during the summer.

Looks like the desk screen is already glitching.

Is that screen to the left side of the set still a screen or has it now become a cardboard backdrop?
