Yes, the bulletin is normal with a mix of local and national content - except it’s pre-recorded due to the cyber attack.
Going into Nine QLD at 6:30pm had issues where stories were often repeated.

A good move tbh.
An hour of news is often too long anyway, and everywhere, not Darwin specifically.
NND has had quite a presence in Alice Springs over recent weeks -
If this situation rates, wonder if they’ll stick with it.
Darwin was back to normal tonight with network graphics and live crosses.
Amy Clements was live from Jervois Park in Darwin City with the weather -
1-hour bulletins are scheduled to return on Monday.
That was a very abrupt good night from Paul there.
He’s done a few in his time.
Same with the regional Nine News bulletins as well
How come Nine News Darwin has only gone for half an hour these last three weeks? It’s presented in the Brisbane studios, so what’s the problem there?
The bulletin was pre-recorded for a while. They share the studio with Nine News Local so there is no time to pre-record a full 1-hour bulletin.
So they would’ve recorded it from 6:00 to 6:30?
One hour bulletin set to return next week. Problems at Nine SLOWLY starting to be fixed.
The problems weren’t isolated to Sydney. But they essentially split and shared the output duties where they could:
GTV- Today/Daytime bulletins/6pm/ACA
QTQ- Darwin/Local/Gold Coast/6pm
So, it was decided that ACA, Local and Darwin are pre-recoded in the afternoon. That way it is in the can so all hands can be on deck for prepping for 6pm.
How have the Darwin news ratings been since going back to their own bulletin?
I don’t think Darwin is routinely monitored by ratings? Regional TAM only appears to cover aggregated markets (excluding central/Remote Eastern)
Ratings have been collected in the past by another source but nothing recently.
Performance across the board with sales and overall station morale has increased.
The bulletin is influenced heavily by QTQ though. Any promo that Brisbane rolls out, Darwin will also receive their own version.
Local updates and potential bulletin for Darwin tonight.
Updates being delivered by Jonathan Uptin for Darwin this afternoon.
