The same error has happened in Sydney’s bulletin a few times… I think the graphics are layered so one disappears and the other stays

Natalie Wynne from Nine NQ has joined Nine Darwin. They now have 5 Journalists and 4 Camera Operators based at NTD.

Only for the first 15 minutes and the remainder (sport and weather) was from Darwin

The main Darwin skycam (the previous backdrop in local production days) made a live appearance in tonight’s bulletin during weather and a sped up loop during a news report.
Can they make it as the backdrop now 
Side note, NTD’s new 4K cams look much better on-air despite broadcasting in 1080p (as mentioned in ACA thread)

I’m assuming Darwin will never see an appearance of Samantha Heathwood as she is linked to “Queensland” news.

If PT is absent and they need someone to fill in - she presents local in the same studio so she could do both but the EP would rather not.

Not sure what his role is at the station these days. He was indicated as apart of the Darwin team but doesn’t appear on-air… could be a producer or something.

Nine Darwin’s afternoon news special going very smoothly.
They are continuing the bulletin until 5:30pm local time - I’d say this is why QLD isn’t receiving Nine News Local.

It would be good for NT to have a dedicated sports reporter on the ground. They tend to form tight connections with all the leagues and provide analysis.
Darwin hasn’t had a dedicated sports reporter/presenter since Kezia Dawn departed in early 2019. Nine Darwin is known for its good support of local leagues and sports coverage but it has been crap since then.
ABC basically axed all local sport coverage so the leagues aren’t getting recognized as much as they used to before.
