True, I did forget about First at 5
I prefer the old angled design anyway…that plus the older style newsroom light box to the right of the main screen give the set a much rounder feel versus the flatter look of the new Sydney set.

Nine News Sydney just took an unscheduled ad break due to report vision and sound being lost suddenly.

Unfortunately no.
It’s on 9now. About 28 minutes in they lose audio during a story and then vision doesn’t play over a VO read. Pete checks with the director and throws to a break.

Clearly a reaction to Big Sunday on Seven News.
Looks good. Melbourne haven’t done standing sport since they introduced the new set, and when they did it came from the main videowall

Looks like for the preview only. I guess it would be a tad hard shot throwing Sport => Alicia => Weather together whilst standing at the end of sport.
However I think it’s something they should still look at for presenting sport, looks good.
