Different opener to Nine’s Afternoon News in Melbourne today -
Snappier like this and closer to what’s used at 6PM.
Compared to the typical:
Can feel quite drawn out because the current voice-over finishes before the long shot even begins to play.

I guess it’s got to do with how the lighting in the studio is set, since they are probably using an angle that usually isn’t used due to how the debate is set up.

That looks like the usual shot used for the regular 9News bulletin.
Also nice production ender from 9.
Thought the 2D logo looked really good IMO.

Last night, Melbourne updated their “Tomorrow’s forecast” fullscreen graphic which is used at the end of the weather report.
Been many years that they’ve used the line-graph styled graphic, now seems to have changed to an overview.
