why is breaking news always red with every single news, why does no-one use purple, or green, of bright pink??
I think it’s still mostly 9GC News report packages with NBN News sign offs dubbed over the end of the report (even when the reporter is holding a Channel 9 branded microphone). NBN will also include a report of their own here and there from the Tweed region.

Nine News Sydney had a prerecorded report from Chris Uhlmann on the SSM bill passing the House of Representatives on-air within a couple of minutes of the vote. The first story was the tragic accident at an ink factory in Auburn, SSM was second.

When did Nine News Sydney update their Sports backdrop to a more Summer friendly one?
It’s probably been said before, but I actually like how the Sports backdrops on Nine News are slightly out of focus images of local sporting venues of significance.
