I suppose that means we may have to wait until February 3 before we see if any major changes have been made to the Sports backdrops? Mind you from a Sydney perspective, a new Sports backdrop will be needed soon regardless of graphics changes because ANZ Stadium is going to become a construction site for a while around mid-year!
Overall, while Nine News definitely needed a branding refresh I’m not sure whether they’ve got it right with this new look at the moment. Maybe it’ll make more sense on February 3 when the Morning/Afternoon bulletins return, but for now I feel like there’s something missing compared to previous packages…
