at 8.30 according to 9Now.
Nice of Nine to promote a Ten show by running the movie Limitless on Sunday night.
I doubt it will help.
###The Big Bang Theory
First-Run Episodes of The Big Bang Theory Season 9
Episode 7 – Tuesday 2 February at 7.30pm
Episode 8 – Wednesday 3 February at 7.30pm
The Big Bang Theory, the world’s number one comedy, is back with two huge new episodes over two big nights every week on Channel Nine from Tuesday, February 2, at 7.30pm.
As Amy begins to move on from her relationship split see how Leonard and Penny react over Sheldon’s planned marriage proposal, and the unbelievable love triangle that will shock Australia.
The season will continue with more hilarious awkwardness from Big Bang favourites Leonard (Johnny Galecki), Sheldon (multi-award winner Jim Parsons), Penny (Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting), Raj (Kunal Nayyar), Howard (Simon Helberg) and Bernadette (Melissa Rauch).
###Kings Cross ER
From Thursday 4 February at 8.30PM
Kings Cross ER returns on Thursdays at 8.30pm on Channel Nine.
Go behind the medical frontline and into the war zone that is one of the busiest emergency departments in Australia when Kings Cross ER returns with new episodes on Thursday, February 4, at 8.30pm on Channel Nine.
From ruthless stabbings and drug-fuelled violence to falls from five-storey buildings, the crisis team of doctors, nurses and paramedics at St Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney prove they can handle anything that comes through their door as they undertake intricate procedures and make life-or-death decisions.
In the new series, a homeless man with a history of intravenous drug use is admitted in a critical condition and finding a healthy vein is proving to be a serious problem. With all his veins collapsed from long-term drug use, how will the ER team administer the vital fluids and medicine he needs?
John finally decides to go to Emergency after falling from his roof two days earlier. The pain and breathlessness he is experiencing put Dr Melinda Berry and her team in a race against time to examine his chest cavity for the problem.
A pair of Scottish backpackers get more than they bargained for when they start hallucinating, but no one can work out what they have taken. When they start talking to the walls of the ER observation bays, doctors must find out what they have ingested so they can reverse the effects.
Drugs and alcohol are a common denominator in Kings Cross, Sydney’s notorious party district, but not the only reason hundreds of patients are admitted to the overworked St Vincent’s Hospital every day, as we will see when Kings Cross ER returns on Thursdays at 8.30pm on Channel Nine.

So Nine is showing new episodes of TBBT on Tuesday and Wednesday, this week and next week at least. Nine needs to be careful with this scheduling because sooner or later it will catch up with the US.
How is that a bad thing?
As for nines scheduling what is with all these 45 minute episodes? Habibs is obviously going to be full of ads. There’s a big turn off already. I will be watching that on jumpin.

How is that a bad thing?[/quote]
Between now and May, The Big Bang Theory will have 3-4 pre-emptions in the US. If Nine keeps showing double new episodes of TBBT each week for this month it will be up to date with the US by March. I would rather have one new episode per week so that Nine still has unaired episode to run here while the show goes on a break in America.
According to Screen Australia website, Here Come the Habibs’ first season has 6x30 minute episodes (excluding ads).
Nine really should’ve scheduled Grease Live at 7.30pm and saved the Big Bang episodes for official ratings. It could have attracted a decent family audience had the finishing time not been so late.
It was a long but enjoyable watch. Keep an eye out for a Brady kid.
Where Is Sandy’s Accent In ‘Grease Live!’?
Grease Live! caused some confusion for fans of the 1978 movie when it was revealed that Sandy was from Salt Lake City, Utah - not Australia.
Bustle
The good news is that Grease Live will be repeated on 9Gem next Friday (February 12) at the friendlier time of 7.30pm.

The Briefcase sees two families each week, struggling financially, given $100,000 in cash. Will they use it to change their lives or to help strangers in need?
Travel Guides is an Aussie version of the UK series which sees ordinary families sent to review local and international travel destinations. They give their frank assessment of accommodation, meals and activities.
Here’s the media release:
Australian television viewers and the local industry are the big winners as the Nine Network today announces a range of new programs in production this year.
In a further boost to its commitment to homegrown content, the network has unveiled a raft of domestic programming that cements Nine at the forefront of Australian TV production.

Among the new programs that are in production are:

But given a golden chance to help themselves or will they rather help strangers in need? Is it better to give than to receive? More than $1 million will be given away in this heartwarming and thought-provoking new series.

Mr Healy today also confirmed the network’s lineup for the second quarter of 2016.
“Our upcoming schedule set to commence after Easter is brimming with arguably the strongest second-quarter slate we have ever broadcast,” Mr Healy said.
These programs include:
THE VOICE
Irish superstar Ronan Keating will take to the red chair as a coach on The Voice in 2016. He will be joining Jessie J, Delta Goodrem and The Madden Brothers for the fifth season of Australia’s No. 1 light entertainment program as they seek to unearth Australia’s next singing sensation.
YOU’RE BACK IN THE ROOM
Television legend Daryl Somers returns to Nine as host of You’re Back in the Room, the hilarious new game show that gives contestants the opportunity to win cash prizes under the power of hypnotism. Standing between them and the money will be hypnotist Keith Barry, who puts each one “under” to thwart their efforts. Over five rounds, the contestants take part in a series of outrageous games where tasks need to be completed in order to win. Their cash pot accumulates before they attempt to win as much as possible in a fast-paced final round where they have to work harder than ever to overcome the hindrances of hypnosis.
RENO RUMBLE
Reno Rumble is the supercharged renovation format in which teams totally transform two houses in just one week. It’s back for a new season with new couples in the biggest showdown on TV as couples hit the road to renovate the homes of everyday, deserving Aussies and turn their dreams into reality.
MARRIED AT FIRST SIGHT
The smash-hit new program of 2015, which saw four Australian couples meet for the very first time on their wedding day, returns to Nine after Easter. In this extreme social experiment, three top relationship experts pair eight brave singles, using a mix of neuroscience and psychology to try to create four perfect matches. Those who make it through the wedding will move in together and live as man and wife for one month. But what happens when the honeymoon is over and real married life sets in?
LOVE CHILD
Love Child, one of Australia’s favourite dramas, returns to Nine in 2016 for a third series, with a stellar cast including Jessica Marais, Jonathan LaPaglia, Matt LeNevez, Mandy McElhinney, Miranda Tapsell, Ella Scott Lynch, Gracie Gilbert, Harriet Dyer, Sophie Hensser, Lincoln Younes and Andy Ryan. Set amid the social upheavals of 1970s Kings Cross, the men and women of Love Child will face their greatest challenges and most shocking secrets, as well as war and a surprise wedding.
THE AFL and NRL FOOTY SHOWS
The AFL and NRL Footy Shows return for their 23rd season in 2016. The Footy Shows will bring viewers all the latest AFL and NRL breaking stories, big-name guests, and loads of fun every week.
THE HUNT
Sir David Attenborough is back on Nine in 2016 to narrate a landmark natural history series about the relationship between predators and their prey. The Hunt will showcase rarely seen animal behaviour – hunting failures – revealing the difficulties predators face in catching their prey. Survival in the wild depends on many skills – speed, stealth, stamina, strength, ingenuity and teamwork. But it’s how these skills are applied that makes the difference between success and failure, life and death.
58th TV WEEK LOGIE AWARDS
No one does event television like Nine and as we celebrate 60 years of television in Australia, TV’s night of nights, The TV Week Logie Awards, will once again be broadcast LIVE.

THE VERDICT
Channel Nine’s provocative new panel show, The Verdict, hosted by Karl Stefanovic, will also return after Easter with more lively and entertaining discussion on topics destined to fuel debate around the country.
