Nine Network - Programs and Schedules

Well two hours ago they tweeted “ALL NEW #9LoveChild is COMING TO MONDAYS on @Channel9!” including a video. Seems they don’t know what they are doing.

Certainly seems that way. The advert in TV Week specifically says “New Night, New Season”.

They were advertising it that way for a couple of weeks which I would have guessed meant Sunday night.

Aren’t Mondays a new night for Love Child? I could have sworn it aired on Tuesdays.

No it was on Thurdsay nights I looked it up

Was it? I never remember seeing it on a Thursday night.

edit: i think you are mistaken the first season aired on Mondays and second on Tuesdays not on thursdays. [quote=“Andyt30, post:269, topic:43, full:true”]

opps my mistake I looked at this year instead of last year and it was on Tuesdays first season was on Mondays

I’m surprised that the Gold Telethon coverage for Sydney/NSW viewers wasn’t mentioned in the schedule for Monday 13 June.

Anyway, it’ll be on between 9am to 4pm with a half hour break for the Morning News at 11.30am which was also the case last year IIRC. Presumably, the other states will get Nine News Now as usual at 3pm but I wonder what they’ll do with Today Extra because if I’m not mistaken, the Gold Telethon usually uses Studio 22. Pre-recorded edition, perhaps?

A post on Instagram has Love Child returning Monday week. It doesn’t have a time.

So is 7.30 Monday a possible spot for The Briefcase?

Hamish and Andy are working on a new show for 2017, which they hope to sell to Nine.

New show coming from Nine Adelaide this year:

ADELADY GOES INTO PRODUCTION

The Nine Network today announced that production has commenced on a lifestyle series based on the popular website adelady.com.au.

Hayley Pearson and Lauren DeCesare, founders and creators of Adelady, will host the TV version of their online sensation, which will be produced by Channel Nine Adelaide.

Adelady will be a place free of gossip and negativity. It will be full of fun, style, fitness, food, fashion and the best events in SA. It will be about inspiring women and highlighting the best of Adelaide.

Hayley Pearson said: “After 12 years in radio we wanted to take everything we learnt to create a fun little community that made us happy.

“The website has resonated with the people of South Australia and we’re excited to bring it to life on the small screen.

“I also get to work with my bosom buddy, Lauren, and every day we wet ourselves laughing.”

Lauren DeCesare said: “We’re both overwhelmed at how many people visit our website and engage with us on social media, and it’s not just our mum and dad – it’s REAL people.

“We can’t wait to share the best of Adelaide with everyone, in our own quirky way.”

Adelady will be made possible with the support of Websters Lawyers, Australian Institute of Fitness, Menz Fruchocs, Harbour Town, RAA, Fresh Hair and Body, Fertility SA, G-Fresh Spices and RD Jones Group.

HAMISH & ANDY TO STAR IN NEW SHOW ON CHANNEL NINE IN 2017

Australia’s favourite comedy duo, Hamish & Andy, are set to return to television in a brand new series for the Nine Network in 2017.

The fun-loving stars announced details of the new program this morning on the TODAY show, live from the South Pacific, where they are sailing on what they have dubbed The People’s Cruise, together with listeners of their top-rating radio program.

Details of the new TV series, to be made by their Radio Karate production team, are being kept under wraps for now.

Michael Healy, Director of Television for the Nine Network, said: “Hamish and Andy are unique talent in Australia and we’re privileged to enjoy a longstanding relationship with them. The Radio Karate team have now created a bold and exciting new concept that we’re excited to bring to the Nine audience in 2017.”

Hamish Blake commented: “We are rapt to be continuing our journey with the Nine Network and we’re going to spend the rest of the cruise working tirelessly to invent a new cocktail to celebrate the occasion."

Radio Karate has previously produced five smash-hit series for the Nine Network: Hamish & Andy’s Gap Year (2011), Hamish & Andy’s Euro Gap Year (2012), Hamish & Andy’s Caravan of Courage: Australia v New Zealand (2012), Hamish & Andy’s Gap Year Asia (2013) and Hamish & Andy’s Gap Year South America (2014).
