Nine Network - Programs and Schedules

It could’ve been a good show but it reeks of manufactured drama and conflicts instead of a genuine discussion about parenting.

Yep, extended to 9:40 on the Foxtel EPG too. Almost 3 hours for a reality show final is crazy, I can’t imagine watching it live and sitting through all the ads.

The first ad (that I have seen) just aired for Channel 9 Adelaide’s new Sunday 5:30pm show replacing South Aussie with Cosi next year (who is moving to 7), and seemingly their 4:30pm show, Adelady, as well. The new show will be called HelloSA and feature Adelady’s Hayley and Lauren, and Tom Rehn from 9News.

Quite a bit of effort by Nine to do a whole new show. I would’ve thought they would’ve just put Adelaidy at 5.30 in place of Cosi.

I guess Adelady is a bit more female skewing and maybe they wanted something a bit broader, but at the same time, a strange decision to end the Adelady brand they have built up over the last few years.

Is it airing in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth?

If it is, they should not air it as a repeat and just show something else like a movie.

Why bother? No-one will be watching anyway.

There will be many viewers in NRL states who don’t have a 9Now account and missed out on the first season of Mega Zoo. Rather than screening season 2, Nine should show season 1 again next week which will act as series debut for NSW, ACT, Qld and NT.

Would many people notice that it’s a new season? Maybe NSW and QLD might think it’s a ‘Series Premiere’.

It wouldn’t have been such a problem if Nine showed the 1st season on 9Gem in NSW/QLD during the NRL season.

Credits to Nine for rolling out the (arguably) strongest schedule for the week compared to Seven and 10.

One thing I must say though. Why is Love Island on at 3 different times during the week? If they want the show to be after 9.30 then keep it there or if they want it to be at 8.30 then keep it there. It’s almost as if they don’t care about what time the show airs on linear TV.

Also missing from Thursday Night schedule and no After Party show either.

Just been confirmed that Love Island actually finishes November 24

I secretly hope that it is a Series Final rather than a Season Final. Ratings weren’t that hot flash this year.

Even though I think the UK version is much much better than ours, the streaming numbers for Love Island Australia are very good , which is what really matters to 9 with this show. It’s the 3rd highest streamed show this year after Handmaids Tale and MAFS.

It’s clear it’s hasn’t really~ worked on FTA this year, is it the kind of show that could work on SVOD as an exclusive? Stan for 2022?

They were pretty good and the brand sells well overseas. It would be a bit moronic not to bring it back.

It’s huge on 9Now and brings on so much new traffic. Moving it to a Stan exclusives stops that traffic.
