Tracy Vo instantly comes to mind - familiar to viewers of Nine News in the West and East.
Thats who I was thinking, since she presented special coverage this morning in Perth too.
The problem is that the Perth studio will be needed for the 6pm news when the special is on air in Sydney and Melbourne, due to three hour time difference.
There is also Michael Thomson who does present the late news he would be familiar to both east and west coast viewers. But he would probably be getting ready for the 6 o’clock news and due to the timezone it wouldn’t work.
True actually. Completely forgot about the time difference (and I’m in perth! )

Considering Parental Guidance finishes next week, should we be seeing promos for Snack Masters during The Block auctions tonight?
Has anyone else’s guide changed for tonight with The Block being extended until 9:40pm?
Wow never knew we’ve already been through 17 seasons of this already.
If you’ve had the misfortune of watching it, trust me, it feels like it!
It could’ve been a good show but it reeks of manufactured drama and conflicts instead of a genuine discussion about parenting.
Yep, extended to 9:40 on the Foxtel EPG too. Almost 3 hours for a reality show final is crazy, I can’t imagine watching it live and sitting through all the ads.
The first ad (that I have seen) just aired for Channel 9 Adelaide’s new Sunday 5:30pm show replacing South Aussie with Cosi next year (who is moving to 7), and seemingly their 4:30pm show, Adelady, as well. The new show will be called HelloSA and feature Adelady’s Hayley and Lauren, and Tom Rehn from 9News.
Quite a bit of effort by Nine to do a whole new show. I would’ve thought they would’ve just put Adelaidy at 5.30 in place of Cosi.
I guess Adelady is a bit more female skewing and maybe they wanted something a bit broader, but at the same time, a strange decision to end the Adelady brand they have built up over the last few years.
