Nine Network - Programs and Schedules

So not a lot really.

Has House Husbands already aired this year? Or has it finished?

Last we heard was that the new season has begun filming but it has not screened yet.

If the new series of House Husbands has only just begun filming, then it’s probably not likely to be on our screens this year is it?

As far as the promo is concerned, production wise it’s absolutely fantastic like most of Nine’s promos. Content wise, not so much…

I’d say House Husbands will screen on Monday nights after Love Child finishes. Hyde and Seek will probably screen on a different night. If Nine keeps running Love Child it should finish during the Olympics. If they run a double episode somewhere it could finish on 1 August which is before the Olympics start.

Last year House Husbands ran from September to November.

Well Offspring had a quick turnaround. So will Wrong Girl which just begun filming.

The Wrong Girl has been filming for 3 months and should be finished soon.

And Offspring is still filming as episodes have begun screening, as mentioned by Kat Stewart/Asher Keddie on The Project.

Smooth 95.3 just played a commercial tonight’s Love Child that ended with ‘on Channel 9, now at number 5 on your remote’.

Sounds like Smooth 95.3 played the wrong version of the radio spot by mistake. I’m sure most Sydney listeners (where Nine always has been…and most likely always will be on LCN-9) would’ve been confused by that!

Anybody else like the James Bond films?

Remember when Ch 10 had the MGM/United Artists rights, I think it was the early 2000’s?

They did such a better job than Seven & Nine have since dished up over the years…

THEY DESERVE MAIN CHANNEL TREATMENT!

But no what do we get, B-Grade late night crap on Friday, Saturday & Sundays on all thr networks main channels…

And I find James Bond movies are already half-way through on 9Gem

Why is it an issue that they’re showing the movies on a multichannel?

They’ve been well advertised.
If people want to watch them, they’ll watch them, regardless of whether they’re on the main or multichannel.

They are good, but I don’t see why the networks can’t make extra airings on sub-channels. I don’t think they used to air as often as a batch before by the networks when we only had the big five.

P.S. Shouldn’t that post have been in the Nine programs/schedule thread?

Yes it should have been, sorry just realised, accidental.

Given there’s 24 films in the official series, clearly somebody does.

Nine has bought the US series BattleBots which is based on Robot Wars.

Battlebots is already 2 seasons old. Why don’t they buy Robot Wars and fast track it? Premieres in 4 days.

I wonder if nine will do a local version? I think they have made some good pick ups for next year. The Gladiator show (cant recall name) and Battlebots are two formats I have always thought Australia should give a go. And they are different to the shows on air at the moment.
