Wait a minute…Didn’t Nine air some sort of telemovie or miniseries about the Beaconsfield mine collapse back in 2012 (around the time of the graphics refresh…I think)?
Isn’t that what we’re talking about?
Yes, it’s a repeat but we’re trying to figure out if Nine are showing both parts of the miniseries or whether they’re condensing it into one movie.
Beaconsfield originally was a miniseries when it was first commissioned but then sometime during production they decided to make it a telemovie instead. It aired on April 22, 2012 as a telemove - there was no miniseries.
OK. Thanks for clearing that up. Missed it the first time so I must have only remembered the chat about it being planned as a miniseries initially. I’ll have to catch it this time.

This timely documentary gets inside the Ku Klux Klan to take the temperature of racial tension in the USA.
Haven’t they already shown this at least twice in the last 6 months? IIRC it didn’t rate that well the first time

Hopefully this is a permanent timesot, although it really should be moved to Thrusdays after NRL
Not surprising to see the season final of Married at First Sight moved from Tuesday to Wednesday, given that the Grand Final of MKR is on Tuesday night now.
Footy Classified will also air at the earlier time of 8.30 on 9Gem.
Might as well just hand in the licenses now. What a joke.
Is that title very bad grammar or am I missing something?
Here’s a review from the UK.
Cats v Dogs: Which Is Best? review: ‘As exciting as watching hot water being poured on to a Pot Noodle’
The Telegraph
I would have at least changed best to better as there are only 2 groups being compared and possibly also changed the verb to plural since multiple things are being compared so ended with Cats V Dogs: Which are better? but only if I was even remotely interested

Still no sign of The Hunt in Nine’s schedule. Perhaps on Wednesday in the TBA spot. This was one of the big shows that was promoted across summer and originally scheduled for 3 February. WIN also promoted it on high rotation as part of the WIN HD campaign.
