Really excited for Sea Change.

Sea Change was huge for the ABC all those years ago. It’s a very family skewing show. Probably a good get from nine.

Excited Seachange is back.

But … three drama programs doesn’t really make Nine the home of Australian drama.

Lleyton Hewitt will be part of Nine’s Australian Open coverage

Melissa George must have replaced Jessica Marais in Bad Mothers. That’s big news casting which you would have thought would have been otherwise announced initially.

Seems like Nine won’t be sub-licencing the Australian Open

Anyone else underwhelmed so far?

All we’ve had is ANW moving to Melbourne, Love Island moving to the main channel and Lego Masters announced which was already confirmed.

ā€œHome of Dramaā€ - one returning series, one already announced and a reboot.

They didn’t really have a lot of gaps to fill though did they?

There is a huge LEGO market and many LEGO Master Builders. Doesn’t mean this show will be a hit but as a fan of LEGO myself and seeing the creations come from others I’d be keen on checking out this show. It can’t be anymore than one hour per week though.

There’s not much there to drag me away from the streaming services I use to fulfill my entertainment needs.

This Australian Open ā€˜drama’ promo gets more cringy every time I see it

Promise of watchable post-match shows.

I find it interesting how they are talking to one-another like they usually would, rather than directly to the audience.

I sure do feel a connection to the ads I see…

(Reference is to an ā€˜addressable advertising’ promo just shown)

Wake me when this is over
