A promo has been released on Facebook promoting the weeknight two hour news and current affairs lineup. Good that WIN have started promoting the lineup, though the promos should have started in the lead up to June 26th. You’ll notice that the ‘NBN News’ logo has been slightly restyled but it still has the nine dots. The promo should end with “Two hours of local, national news and current affairs, weeknights at 5:30pm on NBN”. No doubt the promo will be redone when WIN inevitably rebrands the station..

Not sure whether it belongs here.. or the 9Now thread. But figured I’d share this.

Ever since last week, The NBN Lismore feed seems to keep crashing & freezing. Then a ‘Playback Error’ slide pops up.

9Gem, 9Go!, 9Life & the rest of the Live Streams on 9Now are not affected.

It’s quite poor timing…especially because it’s NRL Finals Season.

Figured I’d update the situation.

On the phone, It works perfectly fine..

But on the Fire TV.. it freezes & crashes.

The Fire TV is updated to the latest version. It’s weird because the preview will play fine.. it’s just when you actually go into the live stream it craps itself

WIN branding is starting to appear on NBN

There was a new WeLoveIt thing that just played, there was a WIN logo at the end.

“Win Network home of NBN News”

I saw that same branding on 9Life a few days ago too.

1997 Newcastle Knights Grand Finals ratings on NBN… Given 266k for that as a day game, tonight might hit 350k also with the population increases .. maybe even 400k? (from the ‘Newcastle Herald’ 29 Sep 1997).
