Australia have won the Test by 89 runs at Trent Bridge, with spinner Ash Gardner taking 8/66 for the innings, the best Australian performance of all time plus the second best of all time (8/53 Neetu David for IND v ENG Jamshedpur 1995), and 12/165 for the match, the second best of all time again (13/226 Shaiza Khan for PAK v WI Karachi 2004). The match was also the highest-scoring Women’s Test of all time, 40/1371, beating the previous best of 17/1143 between the same opponents at Guildford in 1998.
